Seasonal Sales & Marketing & Officer/s – Cork –

Cyclone Rep is a Cork-based Theatre-in-Education Company. We perform Shakespeare plays and Bullying Prevention shows for secondary school students. We tour nationally from November to May each year to schools and venues with a number of different plays in repertory. Each year, we help 30,000 Irish students to achieve success in their Junior & Leaving Certificate English exams.
Overall Job Function:
We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Officer to work full-time on a seasonal basis (we are also open to offer 2 candidates a jobshare position). The candidate/s will be working from our office (in Blackrock, Co. Cork) alongside our Senior Sales Officer and will report to the Company Manager. The candidate/s will be dealing mainly on sales and marketing campaigns for our different plays and will also have some administrative work. Customer relations is also part of the profile.
Skills and Duties:
– Marketing experience to develop and carry out various campaigns.
– Assist with sales campaigns by contributing creatively and organisationally
– Attention to detail is paramount for this position
– Ability to prioritize, independence & confidence in her/his own work
– Have excellent communication skills with an appropriate phone manner
– Needs to be a team player who is enthusiastic, a fast learner and can multi-task
– Be comfortable working with Microsoft Office
– An interest in Shakespeare, Theatre and or Education would be ideal but not essential
Terms & Conditions:
Working Period: 36 weeks from mid-August to end of May. (School Holidays are off)
Hours: Up to 40hs need to be filled. This could be done by either one person or it could be jobshared.
Salary (including Annual Leave):
For 40hs per week €18660
For 30hs per week €14000
For 20hs per week €9330
