Artist Pay Policy

Cyclone remunerates its artists for their work in line with the Arts Council policy ‘Paying the Artist’ for the fair and equitable remuneration of contracted artists. Artists who work with us are paid above equity rates and every year we strive to improve pay conditions as well as stipends on tour.

Cyclone is entirely composed of theatre artists. We have all experienced how hard it can be to carve out a career as professionals in this discipline. Therefore we have a very strong commitment to improve remuneration regularly. In line with this, we have an awareness of how inflation can erode wages. Hence, we raise wages each year to outstrip any wage erosion due to inflation.
